Liturgy of the Eucharist

Communion Rite
Taught by our Savior's command and formed by the word of God, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Deliver us, Lord, from every evil, and grant us peace in our day. In your mercy keep us free from sin and protect us from all anxiety as we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your apostles:
I leave you peace, my peace I give you.
Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church, and grant us the peace and unity of your kingdom where you live for ever and ever.
Amen
The Peace of the Lord be with you always.
And also with you.
Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
The Assembly may be invited to share a sign of peace among themselves.
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us.
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us.
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: grant us peace.
This text may be repeated several more times until the fraction is finished, always concluding with the final invocation.
This is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Happy are those who are called to his supper.
Lord, I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the word and I shall be healed.
After the communion of the priest and the clergy serving with him, the communion of the laity follows. The priest, showing the Body of Christ to the communicant, says:
The body of Christ.
Amen
When the distribution of Communion is completed, there is a period of silence for individual prayer
Let us pray.
The priest says the Prayer after Communion
Amen
